“A very cute hotel, it was our first time in a Caption and we really liked it. I think they're competing with Marriott's Moxy or Aloft but they are better than those, in my opinion. Great air con, very comfortable beds and pillows with lovely bed linens. Very good wifi/internet. All of the staff were friendly and professional. Housekeeping was excellent! Loved the water stations and carafe for filling and the little fridge in the room was great to have. We had breakfast and lunch in the restaurant and both were very good. The coffee there and in the lobby cafe was great. The location is great, in a buzzy area but on a quiet street and super well connected to public transport. Strongly recommend a stay here!”

“Amazing new hotel, close to Central Station! We stayed here for 4 nights in one of the Premium King rooms on the 15th floor. You can tell this hotel was built recently as everything looks fresh, clean, and neat. The location is great, within a 5-minute walk from Central Station. Or, the light rail tram stops directly in front of the hotel which is only one stop away from Central. This is very convenient if you have lots of luggage with you. One block west from the hotel is the Hay St. Market with lots of great food vendors and shopping options. The hotel itself is very modern. The check-in process is self-service and very easy to follow. Although if you need assistance there are staff in the lobby 24/7. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sydney and looking for a chill yet modern hotel option.”

“I stayed at this hotel as a Globalist, and I was really impressed with the professionalism and level of hospitality shown by the front desk team. For the money, I found Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney to be excellent value. As well as being a new hotel, the high-pressure shower, large shower head, beautiful towels, quality amenities, and the comfort of the bed and bedding were all exceptional. My room was also very quiet. This hotel punches well above its weight in several respects. The shower, towels, bed, and bedding were of a standard more commonly found in hotels at a much higher price point. The hotel is situated in a lively area of the CBD, so there are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and transport options nearby. I commend the hotel staff and management on a job well done. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.”

“My partner and I stayed here for one night to celebrate our anniversary, and the experience was truly special thanks to Stephanie and the entire team. The location is perfect, surrounded by great restaurants and nightlife. Our room was incredible, spotlessly clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. It was also so quiet, which made for a very restful night in an extremely comfortable bed. We were also welcomed with a thoughtful note congratulating us on our anniversary and a bottle of wine, which made our stay feel even more personal. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay.”

“My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Caption. The room was amazing - very clean, bright, spacious and the bathroom was perfect! We especially liked the rain shower which had excellent water pressure! There are only three elevators, however, they are fast and efficient. We never had to wait more than 1 minute for one. The location is perfect - right in the heart of Chinatown and easy walking distance to everything. The hotel is close to light rail stops and is very conveniently located close to food shops and Market City. The Talk Shop Cafe inside the Caption had excellent fries and burgers! A special thank you to Lieony Sari and the rest of the staff for such an amazing stay. Highly recommended and we will be back!”

“A fantastic spot in a very convenient location, just a short walk from Sydney’s Chinatown and close to everything the city has to offer. The highlight of my visit was the Lychee Iced Tea cocktail. Beautifully presented, incredibly refreshing, and packed with real lychee flavour, it was easily one of the best lychee cocktails I’ve had in a long time. The balance was spot on – elegant, not overly sweet, and full of character. What surprised me most was the value for money. Great quality, reasonable pricing, and a relaxed atmosphere made for a truly enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back for another Lychee Iced Tea.”
